PlainQR is designed with privacy in mind. It does not collect, store, or share any user data. The QR scanning happens entirely on your device using Google's ML Kit, and no internet connection is required for basic functionality.

The app contains no analytics, no tracking SDKs, and no advertisements. What you scan is your business — always.

PlainQR is licensed under the GNU General Public License v3.0 (GPL-3.0). You are free to use, study, modify, and redistribute the app under the terms of this license.
